First official race on my F5...

Well last Sunday was closing day at Northstar, Tahoe, CA... It was also the Livewire Classic race which is basically a race on this jump trail... On Saturday there was a storm there with a little snow and heavy rain. So the park was closed and the whether it was going to be open for race day was questionable... But it was... Drove up there with a few buddies of mine, Joe and Gerald and met up with some of the RideSFO crew up there... Had an awesome time...

The F5 did great, though i think i didnt really race... hahahaha. Styled out for the photographers instead... lols. It is a jump trail after all... Not a DH trail, hahahahaha

Photos from WM Smith are out... Check it out!!!

Great pic. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm slowly learning the whole wheels off the ground thing. I now find myself looking for things to hop and jump off, although anything over a few feet still gets me all puckered.

One step at a time... A friend of mine, Jerott taught me how to jump some doubles in Pacifica... we started with some small FR doubles and then went bigger and then bigger and then bigger... After that, start going to jump parks and that will help ya become smoother and give ya mroe style for sure...

Brohan: you put so much emphasis on racing. Why would you drive out there, pay for a #plate, and not try your best?

Why didnt your answer MattP's question? I am curious as well.

That was my whole mentality, he put so much emphasis that this was a race, ect. And as far as it not being a dh trail, I'm pretty sure Tim, the dude who won the Pro class, won it on a V10, so you kind blame the bike....

Cause i'm busy riding!!!!! Also helped Walter out at the dirt demo yesterday...

And no, it's called riders lack of skill... The bike is top notch... XD
