    Dying Voodoo :(

    Hey Everyone,

Got back from a ride on my '97 SS Voodoo Bizango and was cleaning it up and was wiping down the headtube. I had a wild hair and wanted to see if i could twist the lower cup of the headset. Sure enough, I could rotate it all the way around.

Anything I can do other than just ride it untill it dies?

Glue it in with red locktite, dimple the skirt of the cup, is the skirt undersized or the frame wallowed out?

Why does that make you think it's dying? Is there a crack? Is it the same with a different headset cup?

I actually tried your idea last week and after a week of riding, it is still holding strong. We'll see how it preforms in the coming months. Its crazy that loctite is rated at 3000 psi!

Clean all ares very well, finish off with acetone. Install parts-headset, stem, fork, etc and Crank the headset top cap very very tight. Leave alone as long as you can!
    Then Ride!

I thought I read somewhere that Chris King headset could be purchased in different skit diameters. Now I cannot find it.
