Do you know anything about this frame?

Labeled Azonic, but I am not convinced. Sent photo out to the company and they said it kind of looks like it might be one of there first frames but none of the old school dudes could place it. It’s a steel frame. Any info from someone in the “know” would be appreciated.

    I think it's an Azonic VR1, it's a mid 90's model, 1997 irc.

World Force made that frame, the VR-1, back in 1997.

The pivot system was called "virtual reality". Cool to see it.

Essentially one of the first virtual-pivot designs, actually developed practically the same time as Outland did their VPP design. It has six inches of travel as I recall and pedalled very well for what was a DH bike, but the frame was also about 8 pounds at a time when most DH frames were around six and a half.

    that kills me...
toss a miscellaneous frame on mtbr and it gets ID'd immediately.
ask the company who made it and they're not sure

yeah it's defo the old VR1, those looked great for the time, suffered the bad press of MBA's "test riding" them on their xc loop.
If steel is real then aluminium is supercallafragiliniun!
