Dean, XTR, 10 y/o. Is it work $600?

I have the opportunity to buy a 10 year old Ti Dean with Full XTR components. I will probably be able to talk the lady down to at least 550 and maybe down to 500. I know I would have to replace the fork and more than likely the cables and housing. I am pretty sure everything else is in good working order.

When I talked to the lady she wanted to know what I wanted to pay, and i told her to name the price. We both agreed we hade no earthyly idea what an old high end ti bike would go for.

I have heard the stories abot their customer services, but since this is used bike i doubt i would have to deal with them. Any opinions on value would be helpful.

I broke my Dean frame and had to deal with them. I sent the frame in December for repair. I would have even paid for it. But I have had no luck. If the frame is that old, and has been riden hard you may brake it. I thought titainium was indestructable, I was wrong.
