Here's a Quick question for the Bokor 29er frame owners out there.

Has anyone found any plugs or caps to fit into the seat stay canti brake stud mounts?

Would really like to dress them up and keep the gunk out of those threads in case I end up going back to V-brakes or some such...

Thanks

Believe it or not...

Re: "... just get a couple from your local shop?..."

Actually pestered them about the brake stud mount things yesterday. No help there.

I'll look for that thread.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I found some brake boss plugs on Torontocycles' home page. KCNC for 8$.
I put some on my 99 bokor. If I remember correctly m8 is the back.

Bokor One 29 Derailleur Clamp Size

Here's the spec on BikePedia.

31.8mm is what they call out.

I just picked up a 1997 VooDoo Erzulie in that awesome burnt orange color. It needs a crap ton of cleaning. The tires are dry rotted, I cannot wait to get this on the trail!!http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/myroadtoiceman/Bikes%20and%20Bike%20Parts/Bike1.jpg

Little late to the party but I went to my local auto parts store, brought my frame in (they gave me a weird look so I asked if there was a way to install a 350 in the frame ), and found some of those black plastic xmas tree trim plugs to fit. Nice and light

Here's my first 29er (SS) winter build project:

Do you think I should take a little off my steerer tube

If you're like me and don't like how bright and shiny the rear slider brackets are that come with the Bokor frame, do like I did and take them to an anodizing shop and have them black anodized (or whatever flavor tickles your fancy).

You could mount some binoculars at the top. I hear the view from 29'ers are incredible.

Seriously though, looks like it's going to be a great build, having the drop-outs black is pretty darn cool!

( I do have a Voodoo, SSCX that I built recently and need to post up, some very nice bikes on this thread!)

My 200? Dambala. Nice and basic, no suspension and "just" 9 gears. Perfect for the dutch "mountains" ;-)

Next week I plan to change the fork to a Salsa Chromoto in matching green. But boy, do I like this bike, quick yet comfy, and so much fun!

Nice bike. Looks like a 2006? The serial number might tell us.

Darn.....

I just bought a Voodoo Nakisi and it arrived today. Unfortunately, it has a small dent in the top tube. Should I just get over it since it is a steel frame or should I send it back? I know it probably won't matter performance and strength wise but I just hate the thought of paying for a new frame that is has a dent. Even if it small.

It is an annoying spot. send it back If it bothers you or see if they will give you a few bucks off. Saves you and them shipping costs and you can use the $$$ for some part upgrade Win win.

Alright, here is my Nakisi. I talked to the shop and they gave me a considerable amount off the frame with the dent. I harvested some parts I had laying around and bought some new ones, and here you go.

I already took it on its first pavement to dirt canal to fire road to singletrack ride and I am in love.....

This is my first singlespeed, rigid 29er, monstercross bike. Awesome!
