Built up the XCL today, and I'm in love

With the help.. (help meaning practically everything) from Poh, or mrpercussive I started and finished the XCL build today. Took about 3 hours to 100% build. Thats including going to the LBS and having them press the headset and cut the, umm.. steer tube? Don't know name.

Took it out and rode for about a half hour before dark and wow does it feel good. So happy with this purchase. Only bad thing is it doesnt work with my current bike rack on the trunk! Oh well haha. Bike is a size small, and black. Without pedals bike weighs pretty much 29 pounds even. Goal is 28 with pedals. Pictures will come soon!

And yesss. Lets do JMP saturday. I've been taking my bike out around my court just because it's so sexy. It needs some real riding.

Sweet. So for my wellgo mg1's... should I get black or red? I kind of have an accidental red theme going. And I'm also looking at red chris king headset that looks sweet, and so much better than my current plastic one.

Any suggestions on lightweight handlebars, stem, seatpost, saddle?

Land on your dropout and I think that would be the last of the worries.

I was without pedals for about a week because the pedals had to go when I sold my old bike. My red Wellgo MG-1's have finally been shipped and on the way! I also got a chumba chainstay protector from cyclecomusa. Thanks for the tube idea Poh, I just know I'll mess it up some how. haha

Will be getting new parts as the money rolls in. Will post pictures as the parts come.
