    Trails around Glastonbury, CT

Hi all, I may be heading down to the Glastonbury area this weekend to visit my in laws. Thought I'd take my bike and check out some new trails. Online looks like Case would be a good bet. Is that a food option for fun single track if I can only steal only two hours?

I found this trail map online and was planning to explore. Let me know if there are any must-do spots.

    thx!

That map has a very small percentage of the trails there and none of the good ones. I am not sure there is an online map of the newer stuff other than in strava. Case is a great place to ride, I'm sure you'll have a great time exploring, you can easily do three hours of riding out there, probably for if you tried. It's likely you can tag along with a group there too. Always plenty of riders out there. When are you looking to ride and how fast? I'm not sure of my plans right now, I might be able to give you a tour.

Oh, and those trails on that map will definitely get you started.

This is a better map, but still doesn't have the latest new trails on it, however you can use this one to put together a nice ride - start at Case Pond Lot, go to the summit, then out blue and branch out from there.

Super - thanks for the helpful feedback. Meeting up would be fun, though I have no idea what window I'll be "granted" away from the family at this point Also looks like it might be pretty rainy this weekend... fingers crossed!
