    Nathan Hale Trail Gnomes

Just a heads up to whoever has been doing 'work' at Nathan Hale. I believe that as a historic landmark that the woods are not supposed to be developed at all. The raking of the trails was helpful and appreciated, but some of the other 'improvements' are very noticable and could potentially land us, as a group, in a heap of trouble.

I'm not saying "don't do it," I'm just saying to be careful. You don't want to be the guy that build some fun new trails but got MTB banned from riding there.

    Thanks

I believe that most of what has been done at NH has been with the land management's permission.

The people at Nathan Hale are aware of the trail building. They were even thinking about holding a race series there but after talking with the trail gnomes decided it would be to much of an impact on the single track as modifications would have to made to hold a large race.
Head over to bike rag if you want to get in touch with the gnomes.

I had the same issue over there last week when I tried it to change my password. Meant to email their admin. but forgot.

    Reviving an old one.

Just want to say I rode yesterday for the first time while home for the holiday and loved it. I was under the impression trail work was all legal and known. The trails were some of the more fun ones I've been on. Great flow but lots of bony sections. Thanks to all!
