    150mm x 30.9 dropper with shortest insertion

I have ~165mm in the frame for the post, another 20-30mm for the mechanism (if internal), and ~ 25mm of "pull out/non insertion".

If an internal 150mm dropper is a no go, I'd take a 150mm external dropper over a 125mm dropper.

    Frame is a Lenz Fatillac.

Take a look at the BikeYoke Revive 160mm internal.
From your numbers, and if I'm not misunderstanding anything, it should fit.

Have one for a couple of months almost 700km on it and it's still flawless.

Yeah, you gotta look at total length extended (rails to end of post) and length from rails to bottom of the post's seal collar at full extension and make sure both will fit at your saddle height.
    Do the math.

I did some figuring last night using a 125 ext Reverb. Fit was just about perfect, sadly the issue is short seat tube insertion, so I'm stuck with a max total length of ~375mm. Best I can do is a 125mm dropper.
