    Who has the longest commute?

I heard of a story on KFI radio in Los Angeles of a bike commuter that lived in his RV moved it as need, but would ride 20 miles each way on his daily commute.

I'm at 27 miles round trip.
The ridiculousness of cycling clothes increase exponentially in relation to the distance from your bicycle.

    45 miles round trip.
A nice start to the day but it can be a drag when weather is different between morning and afternoon.

26 miles one way. I carpool in and ride home. 6 miles off road 20 miles on. Majority of the ride home is uphill. 2hrs 35min. Hopefully by summer I'm in shape to ride both ways.

Mine is 35 miles each way but I feel it's worth it because I only work one hour a day but at $800 per hour.
I hate 650b because it's not as fun as 26 inch wheels and because it doesn't have the rollover ability of 29 inch wheels.

38 - 40mile round trip depending on route. I rarely get to do it though. Just went 25c tubeless and love it!

Used to be 31 miles round trip, but it's about to be 8 miles round trip when I start the new job. I'm really looking forward to having more free time, though I'll miss the meditative long commute.

I am thankful that I have a short commute. I live < 3 mi from work and generally make the round trip ~13 mi total. Tomorrow morning it will be ~4 degrees F with 20 MPH winds

Not sure if a balaclava will be enough around the eyes hmmmm.

Wow, some of you are putting in some miles!

I have an 18 mile after work commute about once a week, but my normal routes are 6, 8, and 9 miles (one way). the 8 mile route has a bunch of singletrack and takes the longest. I take the 6 mile route when it's 4 degrees
You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

33 miles round trip. I actually really enjoy the distance when the weather is nice. But it turns me into a wuss when it's cold!

I used to commute about 26 miles round trip to the bus stop and back when I lived in anthem, arizona. I just moved to Utah and, with the 20 degree weather outside, haven't commuted yet. I'm wondering how people do commute in that kind of weather?

One pedal stroke at a time
Just wear more clothes. 20 degrees is awesome after a few sub zero days!

My first commute was just about 26 miles round trip, mixed road and rail-trail. Now that's down to 15-18. During the summer, though, that becomes 65, 35, and the rest 15 or so, each week.

The longer rides do make me cheat on commuting all the time, though.

20 degrees is not an issue (dry cold here, so some thermals and basic layering takes care of that). I wonder how people commute with the lack of proper infrastructure to commute by bike in Salt Lake. Mounds of snow on the shoulders/bike lanes, crappy air and idiot drivers don't help, either.
