A few more I remembered I had saved:

On the side of the road in Vancouver, Washington, warning of railroad track crossing:

    Not on my commute...

...but I`ve run into all these signs on various bike tours:

Extreme northern NV, at least 30 miles from any asphalt, 1.5 days ride or a several hour drive from the nearest town. Umm... how many kids might be out here playing in the road?

Bridgeport, CA. Burgers and massage is a good mix.

The other side of the island from MedicZero`s golf cart zone:

And across the sound, heading south from Everett, I saw several of these:

And this one from Death Valley made me VERY happy to be riding a bike!

South Whidbey is nice for cycle-touring.

Smoke Creek/Black Rock area? I love heading out there in the Jeep...unforgving on the bike though!

I found this one ironic up in Oregon:

You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

    Signs on Your Travels

I see one on an alt route to work tacked to a speed limit sign that says the area is under video surveillance. It's quite old and worn, and there isn't a single camera in sight. Need to snap me a picture some time.

    Signs on Your Travels

Finished up my production early today, and decided to ride my commute route since I drove in this morning. Snapped a pic of that out of place sign.

Spotted this one downtown. Not quite sure what to think.

And my favorite, from when I cut through our parish parking lot to get a straight shot home.

The Bikes May Use Full Lane sign is in my front yard. Quite literally speaking. The other one is about a mile from my house. It's a short trail segment right now, but the city is going to be connecting it to another trail segment (same old rail line) and also connecting it to another different trail (follows a stream corridor, not a rail trail) in the next couple years. Eventually (not sure how long to expect it to take), this trail will stretch at least from Ohio to Illinois.
