That was unreasonably close and that road would scare the hell out of me because it looks like it has a pretty high rate of speed. I try to avoid roads with a speed limit over about 35mph or so, just because my rate of speed is so different than a vehicle.
The pedals turn, not just the left one, but the right one too.

The mirror must have just cleared his shoulder. And what's with the blaring horn anyway? Does he expect the cyclist to say "Beam me up, Scotty!" and be out of his path? Maybe the driver needs to commute to work by bike for a year or lose the job? The liability he places on the company if he screws up and injures a cyclist is not worth it. Drivers can't be that hard to come by.
