    If it came from a more generic source, I`d disbelieve it for sure. From there, I still have my doubts, but will definitely pass it on to my recumbent riding buddy.

    ^^ It looks like the seat rails broke at the back stretcher as the open end of the clamp-on style seat post seems to be visible. It looks like one side of the seat rail is in him. That said, some people turned down larger posts to fit hard to get seat tube ID's and had them break. One went into a thigh too close to the femoral artery for comfort. (Information from Yellow Jersey (.org) Madison Wi).
