    New bike day

I've been riding my Giant TranSend as my daily and it's been a great bike. Not exactly the coolest ride but it certainly gets the job done. I can't seem to stay off of craigslist and saw a 2011 Trek Presidio pop up. I forced my self to ignore the add but when it was still there a few days later I called and pulled the trigger on it. I don't think it was hardly ever ridden. Took it out to run around town today and somehow ended up 10 miles out of town on some seldom used state ground. I fell in love, that steel frame combined with 42c tires makes for one smooth ride. Felt fast on the road on the way there also. I think it's a keeper. Here she is...need a bit longer stem but I'm happy.

Awright! NBD is the bestest day of the year!
I hadn`t heard of that model, but it sounds pretty cool. Looks like they only made it that one year?
    Recalculating....

Nice bike.. I would have had a hard time passing it up also. For me though I would have to switch the bars to Mtb bars.
When you've seen someone rupture their scrotum on a bike you won't take the standards for top tube clearance lightly!

So it's not just me. Usually when I start spending more time thinking about whether I should get a bike (or something for a bike) then anything else it's time.

Looks like a hell of a bike. Nice find.

Thanks everyone. Spending some more time on it has me thinking about selling my hard tail and going with a steel 29er. I'm slow anyways so an extra couple pounds won't change much.
