    need a handlebar bell

Just did a search on this and nothign came up?

Anyway, I bought whatever stock bell they have at Rei and it turns out it would not fit on my road bike handlebars. Seems like a lot of the standard bells you find fit smaller diameter bars. (No idea what size mine are. It's a Specialized Allez Circa 2004/2005 or so.). Any recommendations for a bell that will adjust to fit? Thanks.

    Hope this helps.

Ummm, a pair of calipers that read metric will always be handy for such things.
Or any set of calipers really.

Refer to this sheet for grip diameter. It should explain why you can't fit the bell on there:
Sheldon Brown's Bicycle Handlebar and Stem Dimension Crib Sheet (see Grip size area)

I've found most handlebar bells are designed for the smaller diameter 22.2mm bars, not your road 23.8mm bars.

SRAM has two bells that work really well on my road bike.
Amazon.com: SRAM Bell with Adjustable Handlebar Mount: Sports & Outdoors
Amazon.com: SRAM Bell with Stem Mount: Sports & Outdoors

The second one can also be found in an unbranded version. There's also a bar end bell that plugs in to the end of the drops on road bars, but I can't remember what that's called, just that it exists. Probably something like plug end bell.
