    Klein Adroit 2001 reborn.

With XTR Crank, Mavic Brake adaptor, 700C Open Pro wheels, Forte singlator, About 17 pounds.
It should be a lot of fun. It's not the old school Klein that people cream their jeans over but it's pretty damn functional to me.

46X18 . My commute is pretty flat, 16 miles of car free canal path each way.

Sweet! It looks funky (in a good way) with the suspension fork and narrow, cream-colored tires. The parts all seem to set each other off nicely. I bet it's fun to ride, too.

I would ditch the fork for a rigid but it has a 1.5 proprietary head tube and I dont really want to put any more money in it. It has fork lockout and it's already scary lite so...
My son already has his eye on it.
