Heads up! Big Nashbar sale this weekend

They're doing that 72 items for 72% off for 72 hours thing again...

I saw racks and panniers, and a few other commuting goodies...
You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

I tell my LBS guy that when he can sell me $350 components for $49.99, I'll buy from him every time. I do my own maintenance, I built my own bike, I have zero LBS loyalty. I need an LBS like I need Dick Cheney as a hunting partner. UPS>LBS. Sorry.

I get better deals from my LBS than I can get from any online shop and I can usually get it the next day. I rarely even hunt eBay anymore. Granted, if you want to buy crap, buy this Nashbar stuff, it'll be cheaper. If you take the time to build up a relationship, your LBS can be a great place. But not all LBSes are the same. Support your local economy.
