That's Great! But as a craftsman myself ,I can't help but wonder how you can manufacture a product and never use one. I make handmade high end tobacco pipes and if I've never smoked one how would I know how it should draw etc??? Same with the straight razors I restore. For me I need to test my final product to verify its sharpness etc. I guess when you produce millions of bikes I just feel you should of at least rode one by now right? Of course this is my own messed up opinion and I'm sure it's not the only one out there.

That's the thing. He's not a craftsman - he's an entrepreneur and started Giant after his eel farm went under apparently. He saw a business opportunity to sell product. Still, it's a good news story if it gets other old people cycling.

His eel farm?!?! Well who would ever think an eel farm would go out of business. I mean with the overwhelming demand for eels an all.
