    Fender problem

I purchased fenders for my 08 Blast from Soma and I can't seem to put them on the rear of the bike. The threaded hole at the rear of the kickstand bracket is not the same as the water bottle holes, nor is the threaded screw hole just below the seat post. Would the LBS have these screws? When I change the front fork to a Surly Karate Monkey the front fender should go on easily. BTW, I would have bought a P2 but the Kona dealer here isn't the greatest and the language barrier doesn't help.

I`d check at a hardware store if the LBS can`t help. If you don`t have any luck there, maybe there`s room to retap a biger hole with known threads? Or just drill it out and use a nut behind? I don`t know how much "meat" you have to spare.

Just bring the bike to a hardware store.
