Do You Know Why I Pulled You Over?

Apparently not, since they were clueless enough to be on the bridge's dedicated bike lane.

Gee, I guess that explains all the bikes and the hand waving.

That kind of stupidity is almost impressive.

"She was not cited." - Sad that Portland doesn't have a law against stupidity.

I think most of us can look back on at least one 'truly stupid' moment in our lives we would do differently given a second chance, or maybe the alcohol haze saved some that memory. Anyway, my point is that if stupidity was against the law, there would be few left to run the justice system. This case is a quantum leap in stupidity as she should have clued in long before she got that far. The fact that she was not impaired (as there were no charges), is awesome, in a sort of apocalyptic way. Hope she wasn't blond. They get enough bad press.

^ True this. Reminds me of the Paul Harvey news story in the mid 90's about 4 blond women who won money together in Reno, bought a power boat and couldn't figure out why they couldn't cruise around the lake, until the boat mechanic pointed out that they had to remove the boat from the trailer. I thought it was a joke until I heard the replay and he said clearly at the beginning of the story that "This is not a blond joke."

OK, dumb, dumb person, but then I have to seriously ask this... Why are there not barriers/poles to block the entrances of this bike lanes so that only bicycles could get through and why would there even be the slightest way for a car to get onto it??? As said, stupid isn't this one woman's property
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

Come on people, don't jump to conclusions.

They might have had a bike in the trunk. Sheesh

Seriously though, a simple steal post in the middle of the entrance of the bike lane would fix stupid.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

No that would be a safety hazard and little Jimmy might run into it at 2am, since he'd be salmoning, with no helmet, no lights or reflectors, and high on the designer drug of the week.
