My favorite line from the story:

"After all, you can let the weather kick your ass into hibernating, or you can go into honey-badger mode and kick it right back."

So true, and I wish I could get my honey-badger on, but this winter its not in me.

I did comment on one of her commuting blog posts and sent her an invite.

^^ Great! Too much snow in Ottawa (4 lane streets down to two and sidewalks under 10' of snow sort of thing) but the temps are close. I commuted one summer there years ago. Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal all represented. Need a Saskatooner! Can't tell if we have a Vancouver or Victoria BC member as the balloons were left city-less. Quebec City, St John, NB, Halifax, St John's NF, Charlottetown? We have one from the Yukon, too. The Alaska and Scandinavian commuters are in the same vein. A tip of the taped liner and balaclava to all of you.

I hope Wpg CycleChick likes what she sees here.
