    Basic Internally Gerad Hub Question

I'd like to calculate what chainring to use with a Sram Spectro 5 internally geared hub with 19T cog. At what point is the hub geared 1:1? Is it first gear? So a 38T chainring would yield ratio of 2 and it would only get harder from there. With a 251% gear range, 5th gear would yield a gear ratio of 5.02. Did I get this right?

    Thanks for the help,

    Joel

I refer to this all the time. First with my 3 speed Nexus and now with my Rohloff.

    Your Spectro 5 is listed.
