    Another commuter......

I tried to post this in the sticky, but I can't open it

Here is the bike I've been commuting / cruising on for about three years in it's current configuration. It has been through some changes. I'm in the process of putting an old pondscum DIY halogen light on the front of the rack. I may also go for the two legged kickstand and put a Topeak rack on the rear with the quick release track system so I can either use a trunk bag or throw on an extra basket for larger grocery runs.

This thing is a blast to ride around town. Really fast and nimble and it handles dirt pretty well.

I really like the Kenda Kwest tires. It has a 1x8 drivetrain.

That is the original paint job. The frame is a mid-90's Miyata.

have you guys noticed that a high percentage of first replies are worthless or inappropriate or just intended to make fun of the OP? and I'm talking about the entire mtbr forum...I found that very funny .... please do not take this as a personal attack Jeff... I've been one of those first repliers a few times too!

Nice! I bet you don't have to worry about grabbing the wrong bike at the store. I like the idea of another grocery rack - I am jealous because I am too lazy to carry groceries (more than a couple items anyway) up my hill. I need a grocery store uphill of me.
