    my new Meta 29
Haven't seen any on here, so it looks like I'll be the first to share.

I was gonna get the Banshee Prime, but lost my patience waiting for it and bought the Meta instead. Looking forward to pointing her downhill.

Just the frame so far, the rest is a week away!

It is a good looking frame, but that Rear Shock will be packed with dirt.

What's the weight of the frame? I've got an eye on one in the future.

PS high volume, Low tune RT3's seem to work best on my Meta 5 and 6. Less spiking over sharp edge hits

    Brakes: SLX M675
    Headset: Canecreek Angleset (-1.5)
    Crankset: RaceFace Ride
    BB: RaceFace BB92
    Pedals: CB Mallet 3

    Handlebar: Answer Protaper 780mm (cut)
    Saddle: Avenir 300

No ride report yet. The internal routing is forcing me to bleed the rear brake line but after that it is done. A comment about the internal routing---what a pain in the ass to setup :D.

    Cheers!

Monster Truck front tire. How much are you slacking it out with the angleset?
Hopefully the SLX brakes bleed easier than elixir's. What a PIA.

The HA according to Commencal is 68 stock. So it would be 66.5 here. As far as the bleed, I don't what it is with me and fluids but I tried it and rage quit. Spilled fluid everywhere and didn't achieve anything hahaha it was horrible. Hopefully my friend who's pretty pro at these sort of things can do something with it.

Can you run a coil over on the rear?

Very nice build BTW, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2012 Supreme FR.

Thanks guys. It's been performing really well for me. I've put it through a bunch of AM/FR terrain recently and it's held up great. I've added a KS dropper to it and I'm also looking to stiffen up the front with a 34mm fork in the near future. In the meantime here's some footage of it at a local FR trail:

Coilover shock would likely not fit.

    update
Been busy swapping parts, adding a few, and experimenting a bit. Additions include a G2 chain guide and a KS dropper post. After casing a few doubles not so gently I had to replace the rear p35 hoop. While I had the opportunity, I decided to go with a 650b p35 rim, laced to a hope hub along with a 2.25 ardent. The 29 rim in the rear really limited me as far as which tire I could use, the max being something like a 2.2 on the not so nobby side. The 650b config allows me to pretty much use anything I want while further slackening the bike and dropping the bb a bit. I also swapped the marz bomber for a fox float with the slightly larger 34mm stanchions. Had my first xc test ride a few hours ago and it felt good. Really waiting to see how it feels on the downs and feature filled side of things.

    Cheers!

Made another quick video of a few local features that I frequent:

Here's some shots of the initial drop and of the gap jump for some perspective:

Liking the white 650B P35. Now there's more 650b tires out there it's a good option on the rear. How much stiffer is the 34mm fork?

    Thanks.

As for the fork, can't say as I've yet to test it in a freeride environment. Weather has been uncooperative...

Recent video a buddy of mine put together. Riding through some fun local terrain filled with tons of little drops and mini features everywhere.

    <object width="700" height="394"><object width='500' height='281'><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true' /><param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always' /><param name='movie' value='http://www.pinkbike.com/v/299433/l/' /><embed src='http://www.pinkbike.com/v/299433/l/' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' width='500' height='281' allowFullScreen='true' allowScriptAccess='always'></embed></object><p><a href='http://www.pinkbike.com/video/299433/'>Frederick Pushin - Winter Edit</a> on <a href='http://www.pinkbike.com'>Pinkbike</a></p>
    </object>

The Meta is great for this kind of stiff. Would like to have a bit more travel though for some of the larger features and beyond.

    Cheers!

Well, I've had a blast with this frame. But it's time for me to part ways with it. An opportunity for a great deal on a Diamondback Scapegoat came up and I couldn't pass it up. Going to take some getting used to a 26 platform but I'll need the extra travel and slacker angles for the freeride stuff I'm getting into. The Meta29 was damn good AM frame and I'll miss it.
