    meta 6.3 adjust head angle.

i have a 2009 meta 6.3 and was wondering how do i adjust the h.a. when i bought the bike they didnt tell me how to, then i asked them and they dont know how. i can see a thing above the forks that has a - a 1 and a +. do i need special tools or will it be something i have lying around.

    thanks,

Loosen the pinch bolt and rotate the internal sleeve with the the headset. If it's been in that long you may have to knock out the headset and the sleeve, grease it and then rotate it. The OE sleeve is 0 - 0.5 deg but there si also a 0 deg sleeve . I think the -5 deg sleeve is black and the 0 deg sleeve is silver?

Depends on the Fork. The Commie geo chart is completely out of whack and it's based on a F160 set at 150mm. I'm running a 160 Rc2 and my head angle is about 66.3 deg from memory[ 65.8 deg with 650b front] and wheelbase is much longer than on the geo chart. Rotating the sleeve is 1/2 degree difference from memory.

I think it's 1 deg on small and med frames. 0.5 deg for L and XL frames.

You always get more offset with the smaller head tube.
