    Meta 5 Bottoming out

I'm starting to go bigger on my 08 Meta 5.5 and doing some drops probably about 4~5 foot. I seem to remember someone saying that when it bottoms out at the rear, the shock pushes the o-ring off the shaft. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
It didn't feel like it was bottoming out, but just wondering for future reference as i might need to up my pressures.

I would check the sag for your weight , adjust your pressure until you have the correct sag, normally around 25% of the stroke, I think most shocks will start reaching there limits with bigger drops, the o-ring will pop off at max travel, just try and be smooth and avoid flat landings
