It's 3k euro in Europe for the whole bike so I doubt that the frame will be so expensive

that bike is hottness, any bike with a vag!na is cool with me

commencal has some great stuff, wish they had real interest in breaking into the US market. Going through BTI will be about as successful as BMC at Quality.

Not to mention they are a bit over priced, not taking into account the US $ is in the dumper these days.

just converting never gives you an accurate figure of what they're going to charge.
for example taking the price sheets from eurobike and comparing them to the price sheets at interbike. once converted the prices didn't match. for example converting the price from British Pounds to dollars of the Slayer SS, the bike would be over 5grand US, but in the US the bike will be around 3grand.

I agree that yes they might price stuff differently.. but i don't see anything out there that says otherwise, I've even talked to shops carrying Commencal in the USAabout the furious and they gave me pretty much the same numbers..

Do you know of any other bike that has a hole in the top tube to let your nutz hang? That's worth an extra grand easily.

    The USA importer is BTI.
    www.bti-usa.com

Whoa- they don't post MSRP but the wholesale price is way over a Turner Highline!

Yeah i would say it sells for $2600.00

A flickable, reasonably lightweight and very compact-geometry "slopestyle" bike designed with input from Cedric Gracia
Gap in top tube for shock clearance at full compression
Contact System rod/rocker link suspension linkage tuned for the optimal spring rate and leverage ratio for each commencal bike. The Furious features extra progressivity to reduce bottoming
Includes 7" travel Roco Coil R piggyback frame shock, 1.5" headset, 12mm thru-axle, Ringl? Jumping Flea 12x150mm rear hub, the new Commencal Deluxe chain-guide, and a seat tube clamp
    Weight: 3.7kg/8.1lbs

It looks progressive, has a cool pivot location that is foreward and up just a bit. I like it a lot except that it's pricey for a Taiwanese frame!

The dollar is so weak against the Euro it doesn't surprise me the price is that high.

Can the Furious run a FD?

IT'S UK PRICE!!! Uk prices are often 1.5-2 times more than Us prices so don't even try to compare them. Usually its almost the same amount of pounds as dollars. Check euro prices. Should be closer.

yeah i've noticed that too, but some guys that have access to bti say that shop cost is super spendy .. meaning that its going to be in the upper 2ks. USD.

which i think is lame, i could see this frame being between 1900 and 2200 USD. but thats just a guess from looking at it.. i don't know any of the real numbers that decide price.

I am the Canadian Sales manager and the current pricing for our complete furious is about $3699, our frame only price will be around $2699
even though our dollars are close right now, any or all of these bikes would have been purchased some time ago when the us dollar was stronger
therefore i suspect you'll see a diffence of about 10% less retail pricing

regardless , take a serious look at this bikes geometry, the chainstay lengths on this thing are so dialed, there isn't another bike like this on the planet
