    Zion Curtain question

So I rode it for the first time today......... As I came under the overpass I went straight up the little hill to the sign stand. Headed up the double track a little ways then headed left on the single track.

When I cam back through I noticed more single track heading east just after the sign. It looks to be in the area of where it says "possible future trail" in the fat tire guidebook.

What is this trail and where does it go? I can upload a pic if it helps.

I saw that from the highway, I'm curious where it goes. Could just be some errant moto tracks.

It is marked, and doesn't look brand new. Interstate is just to the left of this pic.

Hopefully this isn't the actual start to Zion Curtain as I went up the double track about 200 yards before hitting the single track going left

It goes to the fence then turn west back to the dirt road which Zion crosses.

Thanks. I & buddy will be visiting from GA and intend on riding zion, western rim, #2 ect. i'm still debating where we should start/park and return.

Does this "Proposed Singletrack" between Zion Curtain & the Rabbit Valley exit, thats mention above & in the old version of the Fruita Fat Tire Guidebook, exist now?

Can someone help me put together a fun loop in the 4hr range or less?
    I appreciate it.

You can park at the Rabbit Valley parking lot right off the exit or get off at the westwater exit and take a dirt road to the left at a pump station that gets you to places to park or camp.

You already mentioned a couple good 2-4 hour loops. Zion and western rim. Westwater rim is also a great one of that sort of length or you can piece together variations of all those rides. There's a lot in that Rabbit Valley/Westwater area.

You might want to just do both trails separately rather than try to combine the two. It is a ten minute drive between the Western Rim starting point (south of the interstate exit) and Zion Curtain starting point (back north of the interstate).

Thanks. So if we did this loop starting at Rabbit Valley exit, would you all do it clockwise or counterclockwise?
