Taylor reservoir?
I will be camping at Taylor reservoir with some friends, they are running the show or I would have chosen someplace else.
They don't ride but I can't go longer than a couple of days without being on my bike.
Any suggestions for rides close to the lake?
I'm ok with dirt/jeep road climbs as long as I can get some miles.
Looking for 15 - 20 miles stuff, on a HT.
Thanx!

Timberline trail and a spur of the CO trail off of Texas Creek. Doctor's Park. Look in the sticky for trail suggestions and/or a Lat 40 map.

Was hoping someone had some first hand suggestions.
LOL just did a google search on some of your suggestions and got several hits in mtbr forums.
If I search using the mtbr search I get nothing.
Thanx!

Well at least you found what I was talking about. Doctor's is riding real good right now. Here is a link to the other ride I was talking about if you didn't find it.

It's not trail but in a pinch riding up the Texas Creek is at least scenic- but could be full of ATVs and other traffic (car/camper) making it a dusty nightmare.
Another option is riding up Tincup pass or in that area- not actually at the lake but not too far away. You friends could hike and sight see up in that area while you ride and get yer fix.

+1 on the Timberline trail. Really cool although it's been a while since I've been on it and the moto's may have chewed it up pretty nasty.
