    Silo Chase

Your friends in Palisade (who are not affiliated with any local businesses WHATSOEVER) are having a race!

It will be unconventional to say the least. The format will be similar to a "Steeple Chase", but instead of a church at the end there will be a bar.

Racing begins tomorrow and ends with the full moon, October 18th.

Intrigued? PM for details. And Happy New Year!

.............and a merry Christmukka to you, sir.

By the way, me and a buddy will be in Moab all next week riding. Last years invite still stands (for you and anyone else reading this). An Enchilada ride is definitely going to happen, just not sure of the day yet.

Define "next week". I've got this Sunday off, prolly going to Interbike Monday and Tuesday.

Is there a reason we need to get details by PM? Is it like double-secret probation?

Weldo is talking about going instead of riding horesthief tonight with me so I guess PM me the details or just post them if it's OK.

Drive over on the 20th and stay, at least, 'till the 25th. If a prior obligation falls through we'll be there 'till the 27th.

It's not that secret, but some discretion is in order...

I think I'm "unofficially" the leader. I was first to the brewery after all. Not riding 2 miles of the trail probably helped though.

Nice job Weldo... the official leader in the clubhouse. I think you beat my time AND rode much further! Although I did get a few extra miles in trying to find the trailhead.

    Nice meeting you singletrack.

We will be doing some timed runs tomorrow after the farmer's market. Meet at Rapid Creek Cycles at 2ish to race, or just get a tour of the local goods.

Scott is our new leader with a 20:15, proving that even middle-aged engineers can compete!

Come out to the farmer's market tomorrow if you wanna do a run.
