New trail at mountain village, Telluride?

My mother and father-in law live in Telluride, while on the phone with them last night, they alluded to reading some article in the local paper about a new trail that mountain village finally finished [late], that it was several miles long, and that's all they can remember. They didn't know if it was dh specific, or xc specific, or???
My wife and I are heading there next weekend, and depending on what this trail is all about will influence which bike I bring with me. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this aledged new trail is all about?
    Thanks in advance.

If they're talking about this, you should big the big bike for sure.

That's gotta be it; thank you! Hot damn, the wife is going to hate it; it's our wedding anniversary, looks like I need to find her something to do for a half a day or so.

    I'd hide the credit cards.
It's Tride, I think they charge for air in that town. Your wife could literally make you pay .

It's worse that there are people out there that would pay for such a service.

I can't post anymore right now, I'm late for an appointment to have Botulinum toxin injected into my face.

It's good stuff, got to ride there on Saturday. Despite the slick trails and the welts from dime sized hail the trails ride good. Go check it out!

Hmmmmm, maybe if I take the wife to the bubble lounge for some T-air and tapas, then cut her loose in th Togglery for some shopping, I can get a few runs in before she spends the whole wad....
but then again, you can blow the whole wad pretty quickly in telluride.

Do the trails run from the gondola high point down to mountain village, or from the high point back down to town, or both?

according to the article they branch off the prospect trail, so I'm guessing Mountain Village.

Cool, DH returns to Telluride! Did they close Ridge trail to bikes? I heard once the park opened they going to close Ridge which is to bad, it is a fun trail.
