I have an orange long sleeve shirt and orange jacket for this time of year. I think third rifle ends around Nov 20. Second rifle starts about now.

Yes. And a bright orange hydration pack. Also have bright blue for when the orange jersey stinks too bad.

Nope...but my brakes squeel so bad, I doubt I need colors to announce my impending arrival. ;-)

Avid hunter and biker. I wear Blaze Orange, because as a Colorado native, I see a LOT of Texas license plates around.

I noticed that at Crested Butte too, this summer, seemed like half of Texas, and the other half of Oklahoma was in town too.

BTW, it's very important to know how to pronounce Oklahoma.

I don't worry too much about hunters as a hunter. Sometimes I have a touch of red/orange and I try to avoid brown. I think most people are paranoid about something that is out of their control. For the most part, big game hunters shoot themselves or their buddies through unsafe firearms handling. Statistically, intentionally aimed shots causing injury/death are pretty rare. More common are rounds going too far with no backstop. You are way more likely to kill yourself on your bike than a hunter killing you.

Just go places you can't drive an ATV. Hunters don't walk anymore.

I prefer to attach one of these to my helmet . . .

I find if you actually look like a deer or elk, you're probably okay. With so many Texans around, Gawd help you of you look like a mule, donkey, horse, steer, or "friend" of Dick Cheney.

I wore orange this weekend in Moab. Did NOT get shot. I'd say it works.

Good Job TG. Nothing like some 'free range' organic meat in the freezer.

Very nice TG. I went hunting after a seven year lapse and shot nothing. Saw lots of cow elk though. Hunting is a great season filler between biking and skiing. The snow is too deep to bike in and not deep enough to ski.
