Current conditions?
Gunnison Valley got plenty of snow over the weekend. How'd GJ do?
Any change? Is there riding to be had?

Snowed last night but mostly melted by today. I would say it will be muddy for the next few days. Probably dry by early next week.

Bummer I was hoping to get out tomorrow. But if they aren't ready I'm not gonna bother. Figured that moisture wasnt gonna be gone yet. Did you go in the am or afternoon? I was thinking maybe it would be ok if I went early and it was still frozen.

Any chance someone could give a weather updated, watching all three weather sites and can not tell if anything has fallen in Fruita/GJ. Looking to try and find some dry dirt this weekend, is there any chance of that?

Rode Mary's to Horsethief today and back. Last part of Horsethief had stretches of mud, didn't try Steve's or anything higher since it was a mudfest last week. It was great weather for a ride today. Dog is tired, and am working on my 2nd Ranger IPA, life is good.

Trails still good to go in fruita? We were getting sooo close to having clear trails before these last 2 storms came through the front range.

From OTE's Facebook: Lots of phone calls on trail conditions...As of the afternoon of Feb 8th we have received NO precipitation. That leaves the Kokopelli Trails and lower Lunch Loops looking good in most spots, as long as we don't get anything tonight. 18 Rd/Bookcliffs and Rabbit Valley are getting close, but with the nightly freeze/thaw they are soft and muddy in spots.

Rained/snowed a little last night. Definitely set back trail conditions a few days.

Was hoping to hit 18rd this weekend on the rigid since the FS is in the shop. I think it's supposed to be nice tomorrow, you think sat or sun will be ok?

Anyone been on Western Rim this winter?

Only did a short ride, Clunker & Miramonte Rim were great. Holy Bucket had muddy spots. I would stay off Holy Bucket. Ran into another guy that did Gunny and he said it had some mud.

Ran into a buddy at the shop afterwards, he rode Pete-e-kes, High Noon, Miramonte and Curts and he said it was fine.

We'll see you out there - we're bringing an SB95, and can't explain how stoked I am to get that thing on the dirt.

Rode LL last night - mostly dry or tacky, hit about 20 yards of semi muck total on Petekes, High Noon and west side of Miramonte

Sweet! Freelunch-pucker up good to go?

Recommend the LL route for Sat please! Can we go above Widow Maker? Holy Cross? Gunny?

Whats the route? I do not want to screw up those awesome trails at all.
