    East Rim Trail- Rabbit Valley

Anybody know the status of the East Rim trail at Rabbit Valley? (East Rim -- I rode it today and it didn't look like it had been ridden in months (years?) - some route finding necessary. I accessed it from the east end and saw no closed signs, though there was a closed sign at the west end above an old eroded road (that can be avoided). This trail has potential to be almost as good as West Rim and spectacular scenery. Just wondering why it doesn't get ridden.

i think it doesn't get ridden because it's "out there" and not as obvious or immediately accessible. just my opinion. also i think people just don't really know about it.

It's not open to bikes, per the BLM NCA ranger.
