Camping is free and you can find solitude easily, unlike lots of the other Fruita/ GJ and Moab areas.

    Rabbit Valley can be quite tough to find a campsite, the BLM has really limited it. There will be an authority figure driving around McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area AKA Rabbit Valley. Drive over to the Utah side of the border for your camping.
