    Durango..Flyfish and Ride

How's the fly fishing near Durango for wild trout? Does anyone know this time of year what bugs are coming off and hatching? I'd like to do a Cast and Crash trip in the area for a few days.

I do believe the Animas has "gold medal" status right thru town.Lots of smaller waterways in and around town chock full of smaller wild trout.

Excellent, Colorado Cutthroats, I presume? Or Browns and Rainbows? Bring the 2 weight or 4 weight for the little creeks and the dinkers, or is the wind a problem?

Good idea on the SJ! Be sure to ask the guide how deep the water is every 5 minutes.

I'm beginning to think you got a bead for a head like a size 26 WD-40 or a red hot. Smart ass.
