Crested Butte Vacation? What you need to know.

Hey guys, here a little blog post I wrote up regarding everything you need to know about Crested Butte. I did not include Trails however as that's a whole other post in it self. Hope you find it useful.

Ha! Same here...went in '98 when I was looking to transfer to a college out west (thank god I didn't, never would have finished). The wife and I are heading to Gunnison and Crested Butte in a few weeks.
    I like bikes.

    Great blog post Neil.

I've traveled all over CO - so many cool places. Last time was late Fall a couple years back which was a total blast (started out at Outerbike in Moab, UT, then jumped in the rental car and hit SW CO; rode Phil's World in Cortez and meandered up to the Butte then on through Independence Pass to Evergreen before flying out of Denver). CB is one of my fav places in the state.

I want to ride the Pearl Pass Tour one of these years...

One of the 10 best dinners I've had in my lifetime was at Soupcon Bistro. Quite pricey and worth it if you have the disposable income available.

Riding up from town to Schofield Pass to the 401 trail is a good "warm up" (more like lung crusher) for a Mid Atlantic slacker like me eheheh.
