    Carbondale/Basalt Conditions

I thought I saw something posted last week about Prince Creek and Mushroom rock being dry - but now I can't find it. Any info on those trails or Basalt Mtn? And, Scout trail?

Mushroom and the lower half of PC are totally good to go. Upper PC (creekside) is still soggy. Basalt mtn is def a no go.

Cool - thanks. I called Aloha and they suggested waiting a few weeks, due to the recent rain.

Mushy and its various loops are open, and riding well. And like the previous poster said, PC is riding as well.

Which is a better ride right now, Mushroom or Prince Creek?

And I'm guessing that Boy Scout trail in Glenwood might still have snow at the top? Any news on that one?

Forest Hollow (north/east side of Boy Scout loop) has quite a bit of snow, 20-30 downed trees. Call GearX for details. Mushy, lower Prince Creek are OK. Fisher Creek too.

    where is fisher creek?

After the last few days I'm guessing we'll see a lot more open up soon.
Basalt Mtn gate was closed when I was there this past weekend. Road is dry for a few miles past the summer TH, but that's as far as I've been up there. Guessing Mill Creek is at least 2-3 weeks out. not sure about any of the lower stuff, but most of that is on not as favorable aspects.
