    bike mechanic recomendations I-70 corridor?

Was wondering if anyone had a shop they prefer. I'm in Rifle so anything between Fruita/GJ and Glenwood. I know there's several in GS and at least 1 in New Castle, and there's gotta be some in the GJ area but I don't go there near as often and not familiar with any of them.

What kind of bike / riding? Grassroots in GJ is great for gravity and freeride type stuff.

I've got a '12 Giant XTC. Majority of it being pavement, around town and some gravel roads, light trails. It's about time for that first tune up and have the wheels trued. Pretty basic stuff, I'm sure any of them could handle it, just wondering if there's any shops that stand out or that I need to avoid.

Ruby Cyn. bikes in Grand Junction, they have built several of my bikes and do most of the mech. work on my current bike. They don't sell what I currently ride so all the more impressive. Ryan, Chad, Norman are the best.

Ruby Canyon and The Bike Shop are really good with repairs/maintainence. There are probably others as well.

Gear Exchange in GWS or Aloha in Carbondale. Both have top notch mechanics but plan on calling for an appointment.

Over the Edge in Fruita, right off exit 19, can fix your bike and have you out in about an hour. Drew can rebuild your fork and have you riding in no time. They are seriously some of the best mechanics in the valley.

I prefer Ruby Canyon as well. Chad is currently fixing all the mistakes i made building up my SS :-). And once I get that back my Spearfish is going in.

FYI LTR sports does sell Giant if you prefer a shop that carries your brand.
