    Big ride today

I got up early and rode Government trail from S'mass to Aspen this morning. Trail is in great shape, and I saw a pine martin. I consider that a good day. Then I ran into a friend in town, and we rode Smuggler-four-corners-sunnyside.
I'm a fat old man. I can't be doing this crap. Please be considerate of your fat old friends. Don't temp them with longer rides. I'm gonna smell like Ben Gay for a week.
If I die in my sleep, tonight, it's gonna take the coroner a week to get the smile off my face.
Your fear of looking stupid is holding you back.

I called the Forest Service. Goverment is closed from bmilk to snowmass, till June 20th

Did you poach it? That would be horrible because you would be part of a huge problem! Or are you just not telling the truth about where you rode?

Also, what about the trees on SS? Did you ride that, or just dream it?

I rode Gov't yesterday. It was in amazing shape. perfect really. no trees down. 1 of the best rides on that trail yet. It is the best example of cross country rides in our valley. Get out there and enjoy it if you haven't. the Vahalla trail on Snowmass mountain is pretty amazing too!
