Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale primitive camping Beta por favor

Hi all. We're heading down from The Boat this weekend (6/14) to do some riding and camping. We've got 2 families both with pop-ups and we're looking for areas with dispersed camping. Obviously, riding from our camping spot would be ideal, but we're realistic and can drive to different areas. We also don't have any trails we're dead set on riding, so we're pretty open to any area in the RF Valley.
One thing is that the heater in my pop up don't work and we have a 5 month old, so we need to keep the elevation reasonable.
So, if anyone has any recommendations/ advice on areas (or camping with a 5 month old) it would be much appreciated.
Finally, we're doing the take turns riding/ watch the kids between the families thang and any advice on places to ride/ trails would be great too.
    Thanks in advance...

Basalt Mountain or Prince Creek are both mid valley, on the trail, and cool spots. I'm partial to Basalt Mountain, as it's my back yard.

I've camped at Prince Creek as well, nice that you can hit the Prince Creek trails from camp. With the young kiddos, watch out for the river - it will prob be high. Also, I'd stop by a bike shop for some beta on the Prince Creek trails. Mushroom rock is a short drive away.

Also, the bike path to Aspen is pretty fun for those pulling kiddo duty - if you've got a bike trailer.

I've heard about good camping on Thompson Creek and Basalt Mtn too.

Are any of those site recommendations suitable for a lifted 24' toy hauler camper?

    Thanks
