Any riding in Taylor Park/Cottonwood Pass area

We are heading down to CB for the long weekend and I have always wondered if there was any riding worth doing on Cottonwood Pass or in Taylor Park. Has anyone ridden here and if yes, anything worth noting?

Timberline trail and a spur off the Colorado trail. It's been discussed before, look under trail suggestions follow the link to cbmtbr's mtb guide for his version. There is also a loop, trail 411. Timberline trail is typically ridden mirror lake to Texas creek.

Ploglet, you can also go here for the alphabetical version, find texas ridge: LINK

Getting to TX ridge isn't the most fun, but TX ridge is $$.

gunnirider, you ever poked around Lily Lake or Eyre basin? I know the motos love those trails but not sure how I would want to use either one in a loop.

I haven't. After riding Mysterious lake earlier this summer, not sure I need to visit more moto trails.

Yeah, Mysterious Lake was a "one and done" for me as well, and I'm sure Lily and Eyre are similar. Still, sometimes my need to explore overrides my need for good trail, so to speak.
