    27.5" Tires for CO terrain???

I'm flying out to CO to ride for a week and I've decided to leave my Tallboy at home and bring my new Ibis Mojo HDR. My Hans Dempf 2.35" tires I'm running in Western NC would be miserable for riding in CO for a week.

I've run specialized controls out there in the past on my Tallboy, but they don't make a 27.5" tire.

I'll be riding in Aspen, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and also doing 24 hours in the Sage in Gunnison.

Any suggestions for 27.5" tires for this terrain?

    Thanks!!

What are 27.5" tires? Will they make me faster and roll over stuff easier? The thought of this new type of wheels is intriguing. I wonder if they will ever go over 27.5" too, that's a thought... Imagine how cool that would be.

I would think running what ever tire you know and like will work fine.

    Do I smell sarcasm?
I saw a 36" wheeled bike at Interbike, gonna wait for that one to hit the market.

Bontrager XR-4 Team Issue : Bontrager: XR4 Team Issue (Model #11643) Great tread for Co riding, durable casing without being too heavy, tube-less ready.
