    Youngs Gulch conditions?

I was going to take the wife to Youngs gulch tomorrow and was wondering if it is still muddy or if the water is running yet? I know some of the other trails are great right now, but this one is not as exposed as the others.

Was going to ride up there last night, but did Hall instead. I was thinking of taking the family up there this weekend, so would appreciate if you could post conditions after you ride it.
    Thanks

Bring your Aquasocks, I'd guess you'll need them. 30 some odd crossings on that one right?
Gone are the days we stopped to decide,
    Where we should go,
    We just ride...

That sounds about right. If you really want to get wet, ride down to Hewlett Gulch and do that too. Only 3 miles between trailheads. Hewlett has more than a dozen crossings. Great way to stay cool on a hot afternoon ride.

Plan on bicycle maintenance after these rides.

I haven't been up there yet this season....but based on how full the Poudre is (I cross it every day) it is going to have deep water crossings.

But - I have never been to Young's in the 7 years I've lived here that it has not had a lot of water.

Should be fun - Hewletts should be fun as well right now.

We just got back from there a bit ago. What a great ride today. The weather was friggin perfect. The trail was great. The dirt is good and tacky, but not muddy and not too dry. The water is flowing, but not too deep yet. You can cross all the crossings without dismounting at this point. We only saw two other people there.
