You Are Not Going To Believe This

Yet another tick story .Check it out I was hiking back from the trail today thought I felt something in my bellybutton so I thought I would check for lint. There was something in there alright and I couldnít get it out! I pulled up my shirt and started digging and looking. A F-ing tick in my bellybutton!
The worst part was it was large and looked like it had been feeding for awhile. I havenít a clue where or when I got it!

Gnarly - I've found ticks (only crawling, fortunately) on me the last two times I've been up in the hills. Seems kinda odd to me, given that I've lived in CO for 30 years and have rarely seen them before this year. Maybe they were worried about the aluminum in my old deodorant?
    Now with more vitriol!

They are always out around Memorial Day lurking in the grass. Another reason to pack heat on your MTB. Seems like by the end of June they are rare.

Damn, all these tick threads are freaking me out. I haven't had a ticket for years, but that first pic is nasty. And the tick disease sounds awful.

    Time for some Deet.
