Is Winter Park intermediate XC friendly?

I have a friend in town who is an intermediate XC rider but out of shape. Would Winter Park be fun for an XC rider?

yes, about a good a place as any. Trail selection is always key, but there a some fun rides without much climbing.

Ride the Fraser trails. Tons of fun and intermediate riding. Any of the LBSs will be able to point you in the right direction.

Just got back from Fraser, my wife and I rode Tipperary and Flume, nothing she couldn't handle and she is not much of a fan of anything techy. We took the kids up and down creek side a few weeks ago and they enjoyed it and some neighbors rode the idlewild trails with their kids and everyone enjoyed it. Lots of fun single track in Fraser for all levels. The folks at Totally Wired have been great about suggesting rides, and helping us out with forgotten shoes (lent us some platforms for the day) and a loose cogset (my bad when changing rear wheels).
