    Where to Stay in Breckenridge

Me and a couple of friends are going out to Breckenridge for a few days of riding in July. Does anybody have any recommendations for lodging?

    camping, or actual lodging?

For reasonable lodging, frisco or dilverthorne is a better choice for us cheap bastards.
Breck itself is pretty pricey, but like mentioned above... camping is all over the place.

Shoot allmtnman a PM... you can stay on his porch!

There is no end of choices in Breck for lodging. Use the www and check them out and you'll find stuff at all price levels. If you want to save cash Frisco is cheaper. I've stayed in both the Snowshoe and Frisco Lodge and they are fine and cheap. Frisco Lodge is the better of the two but both are fine and right in town. You can take the free bus to Breck from Frisco. I'd definitely stay in Breck if the $ wasn't a deal breaker.

Personal favorite is Great Western Lodging: http://www.gwlodging.com/

Tons of choices and price points. Plus free wifi in about all the rentals.....good for me as I work remotely. I have had good luck getting a 1 or 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen, wifi, etc. for about $90-$100 a night.

I'd recommend Mountain Thunder Lodge if you're looking for condos or townhomes. Great location- about a block from Main St., and has singletrack leaving the property (leads to Peak 8 and Peaks trail). I have to admit I am affiliated through work, but most people on TripAdvisor seem to agree with me.
