    Wheelset Rec's?

How about something in the range of Mavic x223 disc vs. (new) Crossride vs. DT Swiss x430?

I;m running the DT Swiss wheels on my current bike, but feel like they're super flexy. I have an old set of x223's that I feel were stiffer, but I dont know if it's worth relacing them?

New Mavics in my price range might be a Crossride. Thoughts?

Is the increased performance/feel worth stepping up to a $500 set in your opinion?

Go to Chainreaction and build a set on Hope Pro 2s with either Mavic 521 or, if they still have them, 321. Depending on the rim and spokes, it will run between $330 and $360. Those will ship for free.

Trust me on this; I'm running those same two builds on a couple hardcore hardtails, and they will not be flexy at all. I believe they weigh about 2300g grams a set.

    Thanks,

    Found this http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-XT-M775-Mav...item27b2a47cfa

Seems like a pretty good set for the money, no?

That's a pretty good deal since it comes with the centerlock rotors, but the hope pro 2s are a lot nicer hub than the XT hub, so for a little more I would go to chainreaction

Does anyone have any experience/know anything about 'Velocity Blunt' wheels?

The MSRP is $500 and weigh in at around 2080g per set which I think is pretty light comparatively. Thoughts?
