What tools/spare parts do you ride with?

My emergency preparedness is sorely lacking.

Minimum you should carry on front range trails that have people on them.

    -spare tube
    -pump

Otherwise you can usually get help from another rider.

But if you want to be more prepared...

    -wind/rain jacket
    -food
    -small bottle of lube
-multi-tool with a chain tool and torx wrench if you have disc brakes.
-tire levers, you might not need them, but you might be able to help someone who has difficult tires.
-patch kit in addition to tube.
-duct tape (wrap a few feet on your pump)
    -zip ties
    -spare cleat bolts
    -m5 screws
    -SRAM powerlink
    -leatherman or similar
-first aid kit including superglue, ibuprophen, allergy pills
-piece of two-liter bottle for a sidewall tear.

    And for extreme cases add....
    -shifter and brake cables
    -space blanket
    -matches
