    What happened to cold?

Took the day off to do a little riding. Wow, was it hot! Bergen Peak goodness for the first time this year.

That's why I did 23 mi at Soapstone yesterday morning.

    NOAA forecasting is your friend.

It was still pleasantly cool at 12 noon when I rolled back down to the lower TH lot.

It was cool at Elk Meadow this evening... breezy w/ some threatening looking clouds that never amounted to anything. Not to mention, almost no one there.

It was warmish driving down I-25 from Greely at 2pm in a truck that has no A/C.

Be thankful you were at Bergen because there are much worse places to be.

Alderfer / 3 sis was very nice yesterday. Got up there at about 3:30 and my truck said it was 78. 95 in Westminster when I left the office.

That and I saw only one other person on the evergreen mtn/summit trail. No one on Sisters and Ponderosa except for two hikers leaving the lower lot.

Yeah, I know. I still wanted to get back in the early afternoon and go to the pool with the kids. Getting high on Sunday.

I generally leave that for any day that ends in "Y"...
This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps!
